New regulations starting August 2, 2018, will replace the current ” first-come, first-served” application process for Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP).
The new Quebec Express Entry-style application system is designed to improve processing times.
Minister Heurtel said that the province intends to reduce the processing time to less than 12 months.
The following steps are expected under the QSWP:
- Expression of Interest submission
- Invitation to apply for Quebec Selection Certificate
- Submission of Application for Quebec Selection Certificate
- Once CSQ obtained, apply to Immigration with Federal
