Atlantic Immigration Program

For applicants planning to settle in one of Canada’s four Atlantic provinces.

By Patrick Leong · R506679 · Reviewed 11 October 2026

Where does the program apply?

The Atlantic Immigration Program covers New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador.

Who can consider this pathway?

Eligible skilled workers and qualifying graduates from an Atlantic Canadian institution may be able to apply with a job offer from a designated employer. Job offer, endorsement and federal eligibility requirements must be met.

What should we review?

Employer designation, provincial requirements, the job offer, education, language and work experience or graduate eligibility. Settlement planning is also part of the process.

Is a general job offer sufficient?

No. Employer designation and the applicable program and provincial requirements matter. We review the specific offer and route before recommending an application strategy.
